Business Development Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. You will be the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. The business development manager is in charge of developing business solutions. The main goal is to generate more revenue for the company. They will manage client accounts and come up with new sales ideas. This includes new sales strategies, sales pitches, and business plans.

Roles & Responsibilities
    • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
    • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
    • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
    • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
    • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
    • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
    • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
    • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
    • Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople 
    • Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
    • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements.
    • Tracks individual contributors and their accomplishments.
    • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
    • Discovers and explores business opportunities.
    • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
    • Evaluates options and resolves internal priorities.
    • A proven track record in strong presentation skills is essential in the role of a Business Developer.
    • Business Developers need a strong track record of business-to-business sales at a corporate level.
    • A Business Developer will need to have strong research and strategic analysis skills.
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to cold call potential clients with confidence are key for a successful business developer.
    • Business Developers need to be skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients.
    • Excellent organizational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement.
    • Must be able to operate Microsoft Office and associated programs.
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
    • Ability to adequately demonstrate working experience acquired from similar positions
    • Excellent skills in logistics management and information and computer technology
    • Strong creative ability
    • Ability to carry out research relating to the organization and collate the information derived from such research towards improving the organization’s business status
    • Excellent attention to details and strong ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations
